Getting to Grips with LLT

Our 3 Steps

Step 1: Wordlists

It can be challenging to find a comprehensive list that covers all the vocabulary you’ll need for C1 level.

At LLT, we have used the CEF (Common European Framework) and Cambridge Profile to compile a topic-based set of wordlists.

All LLT Wordlists have audio & pop-up definitions.

As we think vocabulary is so important at C1 level, this was a natural starting point to guide you.

Take me to the LLT Wordlists!!

Step 2: Flashcards

As vocabulary expansion is so important at this level, for each topic, we have included flashcards that focus on at least 1 vocabulary item from the Wordlist, and give you related words or expressions.

LLT Flashcards, which are in sets of 4 cards, include audio for each item, the key term on the front of each card, a definition on the back of the card, and an example sentence with the term missing to jog your memory. You can also listen to each example sentence.

Step 3: Practice

Once you have studied the Wordlists & Flashcards, it’s time to see the vocabulary in context.

This is done with reading or listening material, and interactive exercises to help you recall & use the vocab you’ve been studying.
