Cravings

Do you have any cravings? Sometimes, I crave for chocolate croissants which I love dipping in my coffee - Oh, that's another craving I have!

In English, when we really want something, we say we "crave for" it or have "a craving for" it. We can also say, "I'm dying for...". So for me, it could be, "I'm dying for a coffee. I haven't had one yet this morning!" And similarly, we say, "I could kill for..."! What could you kill for sometimes?

You're going to watch a video of a pig with a serious craving for cookies!
But before you do, think of the possible ways he might try to get them from the top of the fridge.
1. Watch the video until 2:50 and stop it. (You will understand why later!)
2. Give yourself a pat on the back for anything that was the same or similar.

3. Look at the following things and if necessary, check the meaning (*by clicking on them):

a bikea rampa *pile of booksan ironing boarda *pole
a trampolinea fishing *rodan umbrellaa mechanical *sawa *stool
a climbing harnessa *brooma bowling ball a pile of boxes a rocket
a plane a *plungera swing

Did you predict any of the things above? Well done if you thought of any others!

4. Now watch the video until 2:50 again, and put the things Ormie uses in the correct order.

a bikea rampa *pile of booksan ironing boarda *pole
a trampolinea fishing *rodan umbrellaa mechanical *sawa *stool
a climbing harnessa *brooma bowling ball a pile of boxes a rocket
a plane a *plungera swing
