Question 1 of 1
1. Question
2. Complete the spaces with words from exercise 1. Where there are two possibilities (e.g. can / tin) you can use either.
-
A) Mix the eggs and flour with a (hand) (whisk) to put air into the mixture.
B) Pull the (potato) (masher) from the edge of the pan to the middle, until you get an even consistency.
C) Many (cheese) (grater)s have different size holes, which I recommend for obtaining the best texture when cooking with pasta, or when making melts or sauces.
D) So you don't waste any of your sauce by leaving it stuck to the pan, a (plastic) (scraper, spatula) easily collects all the remaining sauce and it's easier to wash up too!
E) If you open anything that needs a (tin, can) (opener) first, you'll save time later when emptying contents into a bowl or pan).
F) Use a (pair) (of) (scissors) to cut the baking paper to the size and shape of your cake base.
G) Filter the used oil through a (sieve, strainer), then reuse a little with a brush to cover the vegetables.
H) When you lift the vegetables with the (fish) (slice), shake off any excess oil before removing them or you'll have greasy food!
-
3. The sentences in the last exercise can be classified as:
